Designed for hypertrophic scars and keloids
After surgery, some scars may thicken or become raised. When applied directly to the healed scar, the STIMCARE patch supports local microcirculation to aid in scar remodeling, as a complement to the care provided by your doctor or surgeon.
Designed for scar treatment
A non-medicinal approach, applied directly to the healed scar.
Scar Revision
Supports the remodeling phase of post-surgical hypertrophic scars and keloids.
Local Microcirculation
Reflects your body's infrared radiation to support microcirculation in the scarred area.
Scar Comfort
May help reduce itching (pruritus) and the tightness felt on the scar.
Without medication
No active ingredients. Nothing penetrates the skin.
As a supplement to the treatments prescribed by your doctor for your scars (silicone, corticosteroids, laser, etc.), without interfering with them.

An infrared mirror placed over your scar
The patch does not contain any medication. Natural mineral oxides reflect the infrared radiation emitted by your body back toward the tissues to support local microcirculation and aid in scar remodeling.
Three layers: OEKO-TEX-certified cotton fabric, eNOsyntex technology (which reflects ~95 % of the body's infrared radiation), and a latex-free acrylic adhesive.
- Supports scar tissue remodeling
- Stimulates local microcirculation
- Non-transdermal: nothing enters the body
- For post-surgical hypertrophic scars and keloids

Your Questions, Our Answers
How long does it take to see results?
Results are gradual and vary from person to person. Scar remodeling is a long-term process: plan on at least 2 to 3 months of regular use, in addition to follow-up with your healthcare provider.
Can I use it on a recent scar?
Yes, as soon as the wound has completely healed (usually 2 to 3 weeks after the procedure), with no scab or open wound. Never apply to an open wound.
What about an older scar?
The patch is used on healed hypertrophic or keloid scars, whether recent or older. Results develop gradually and vary depending on the individual scar.
How long should I wear the patch?
Wear the patch for 4 to 8 hours a day on a clean, dry scar. The patch is for single use only: use a new patch each time you apply it. Regular use for at least 2 to 3 months is recommended.
How many patches should I plan for?
For a large scar, apply several patches side by side along its entire length. Since the patch is for single use only and must be replaced daily, choose the size that best suits the desired duration of treatment.
Is it covered by insurance?
STIMCARE Cicatrice is a Class I medical device that is not covered by Social Security.
