A STIMCARE patch is not a transdermal patch. It is a infrared mirror. Its organic cotton fabric is coated with a layer of inert mineral oxides that reflect back to your body approximately 95 % of the far-infrared radiation that your body naturally emits, within the 3- to 20-micron range.

Where to Apply the Patch Depending on the Joint
Healthy, dry skin without any lotion. Apply the patches around the painful joint whenever possible, rather than covering a single spot. Use one to three patches, depending on the area and the intensity of the pain.
Knee
Just behind the knee joint, on the outer side. Popliteal fossa, behind the knee. Lateral malleolus.
Shoulder
Just behind the glenohumeral joint, on the outer side of the scapula. Beneath the scapular spine. On the acromion.
Hip
Four fingers behind the greater trochanter. Groin crease, on the thigh.
Wrist
On either side of the base of the wrist.
Fingers
Start at the base of the wrist, then wrap the patch around the target finger.
Elbow
Outer side, beneath the crease of the bent elbow. Inner side, just below the elbow. Corner where the angular muscles and trapezius muscles meet.
Anchor
On either side of the ankle, below each malleolus.
