Relieving functional discomfort in the ankle

1 Major discomfort point: located under the medial malleolus of the ankle, on the medial collateral ligament if medial instability.




2 Major discomfort point: located below the lateral malleolus of the ankle on the lateral collateral ligament if external instability.




3 Important point: located on the inside of the leg, 2 cm below the knee on the tibialis anterior muscle.





4 Important point: located on the inside of the leg, in the lower third, 1 cm from the edge of the tibia, and 8 fingers above the medial malleolus.
